I am a story-driven researcher who loves using data to understand and improve programs and processes for people. In all of my work I strive to understand the relationship of how people and systems interact to drive meaningful action. I have experience in media, global health, evaluation, social impact, data science, UX research, clinical trials, clinical assessments & interviewing, and qualitative analysis. In 2020 I co-founded Sankofa Road Insights (SARI) with my partner. SARI focuses on equitable evaluation, social impact, and DEIA. We are proud to be a woman, Bengali, Black, Muslim, and family-owned business.

I am currently the Manager of Impact Strategy at Science Friday, a public radio show and nonprofit organization. I use data and feedback to help our staff understand how our stories can shape audiences. I get to ask the big questions: What motivates and inspires our readers, watchers, listeners? I launched a new digital article series, SciFri Findings, taking a deeper dive into how are research and evaluation can be incoporated into our journalistic and educational practices.
