Intro to Consulting Skills

Hosted by Dr. Matt Feldmann,  this webinar is designed for evaluators who are looking to begin offering evaluation consulting services or who are looking for tips to improve their consulting. The hour will cover the consulting landscape, findings from the Independent Consulting survey, and a conversation on niche. Participants will be forwarded worksheets to provide reflection on "Do I have what it takes" and niche identification as well as Dr. Feldmann's journal article from the 2019 New Directions for Evaluation special edition on independent consulting. 

Dr. Matt Feldmann is the principal researcher and owner of Goshen Education Consulting Inc. He started the company in 2009 due to the untapped need to provide data interpretation and evaluation services to the educational communities in Southwestern Illinois. He is a frequent workshop presenter on consulting topics for AEA pre-conference workshops, the Summer Evaluation Institute and for local affiliates like NYCE. He also is the president of the Evaluation Association of St. Louis.
